SARah!™: Search and Rescue Training Tool
Search and rescue teams need a predictable and reliable means of training their members to use the new tools available today for locating living, trapped victims of disaster.
The UltraVision Security Systems SARah™ System replicates the breathing patterns of infants, children, and adults. SARah! mannequins can be placed in debris piles for discovery by SAR trainees using UltraVisions’s LifeLocator® and other search methods. Breathing patterns can be chosen using pre-set selections or adjusted according to desired breath volume (mL) and breath rate (bpm).
The robust and durable construction of the SARah! mannequin encourages long-term placement in debris piles for extended training sessions lasting days or even weeks.
Up to four SARah! breathing mannequins can be operated from one user interface so that trainees can learn to work together to find multiple victims at a single disaster site.
Each SARah! System includes:
- The breathing mannequin
- Power supply
- Fifty feet (15 meters) of USB cable
- Required software for user supplied PC or laptop and carrying case
Standard 110 -220V power is required to operate the system at the training site
Use pre-selected breathing patterns or create custom volume and bmp rates
